LIE KWAI FEI (MALAYSIA)

Liew Kwai Fei was born in Malaysia in 1979. Kwai Fei majored in Ink Painting at the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA). Since graduating, he has participated in a number of group exhibitions including 3 Instalasi + 3@RAP-A Preview of Installation Art and Drawings at Rumah Air Panas, Kuala Lumpur, 2003. YOUQUING- A Showcase of Ink Painting and Drawing at Rumah Air Panas, Kuala Lumpur 2004 and Dream, Delirium + Face at Reka Art Space, Kuala Lumpur, 2005. Solo Exhibitions include Paintings for All Ages / Paintings with Extended Space 2009, Fei at Rumah Air Panas, Kuala Lumpur 2003 and the Rhythm of Doing. Valentine Willie Fine Art, Kuala Lumpur, 2008. He also participated in the VASL International Art Residency in Karachi, Pakastan in 2003.
