The discusion covered COS’s fusion of traditional techniques of production with feminist concerns as well as their parallel art and music/sound practice, the currency and translation of contemporary feminist theory in art and life and recent COS forays into fashion. COS member Alex Murray-Leslie also spent time meeting with Melbourne artists to further expand her ‘Girl Monster’ project - a curated compilation of 62 works by 62 women artists focussed on the art/music cross-over.
