AMY CHEUNG (HONG KONG)

Amy Wan Man Cheung is a conceptual artist who produces large-scale works .Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ms. Cheung received a B.A. in art history and fine art from Goldsmiths College in London and an M.F.A. from the Slade School of Fine Arts of the University of London. She represented Hong Kong in the 2007 Venice Biennale and in the same year she received the “Outstanding Young Artist Award” from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. She has been awarded a grant in 2010 from the Asian Cultural Council to participate in an international residency program in New York and to meet artists and curators around the United States.
