What the Sea Brought In! continued Kim Power’s sculptural exploration of primal forms found in nature and the manner in which these forms have been repeated and transformed by marine life and the human body. Within the exhibition, Power’s internally lit paper maché objects maintained an ambiguous nature, oscillating between the shapes of sea anemones and plants whilst also recalling phosphorescence and the currents of the sea.
