Studio 12 Exhibition

Gabby O’Connor’s water-barriers sculpturally evoked the properties of light and space, architecture and water through the accumulation of hand-dyed and sewn tissue paper. O’Connor’s exploration of colour and transparency through paper and light is at once metaphorical and materialist, the result of a city-dweller’s meditations on the natural world and its relationship to built environment.
