DEBORAH OSTROW

 

Deborah Ostrow is a Melbourne-based artist who undertook a studio residency at Gertrude from 1992-1993. Ostrow gained a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts in 1991, a Masters at RMIT in 2002 and is currently completing a doctorate at Monash University. She has exhibited widely both within Australia and internationally, including an Asia Link residency in Bombay and New Delhi in 1995 and at P.S.1, New York in 1998. Recent exhibitions include ‘Series, Deviations of Nothing: Reworked and Improved’, West Space (2010), ‘After Araki’s ‘Tokyo Lucky Hole’ and ‘Dramatic Shooting and Fake Reportage’, Spacement Gallery (2005), and ‘Stellar, Live Auction Video Loop’, Centre for Contemporary Photography (2002).
