ALASDAIR MCLUCKIE

Alasdair McLuckie’s practice adopts meticulous process to explore mythology, ritual, and re-birth. Using drawing and craft, his work re-invents folklore with a strong formalist aesthetic sensibility and an attention to detail that translates into a dense visually symbolic language that expresses the infinite possibilities of creation and unifies process, material, image, and concept.

McLuckie graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne with a Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) in 2007.
