Arkley's primary sources has always involved personal obsessions and odd tangents, drawn together in surreal juxtapositions. Taking this opportunity to highlight the shifts and influences visible in his work, he revealed much of his source material in the process. Always one to confound expectations and play with convention, Arkley did not simply exhibit exiating prepatory work and related documentation. The show was in effect new work.
