For her first individual exhibition in Australia, Beijing based artist Yin Xiuzhen, constructed a traditional Chinese pagoda from hundreds of kilos of second hand clothes. Representing a poetic collection of diverse materials, memories and life experiences, Yin Xiuzhen's work explored the individual construction of identity through the relations between the body and the city, and the public construction of social space through architecture, cladding and clothing.
